Your Privacy Matters

Here at Intech Fire & Security Ltd we take your privacy seriously and will only use your personal information to administer the provision of the products and services you have requested from us. We hold your information electronically on secure servers.

We will never share your information with third parties without your consent, though, as an approved NSI company, access to our records is provided to an auditor during our annual inspection.


Data we hold

The personal information we hold about you will be the information you provided at the time you requested our service and includes, but is not limited to, name, address and contact details.


Sharing with Third Parties

There are certain instances where we need to share the information you provide with external parties, this is predominantly for customers that have monitored systems, for further information follow the link to our General Data Protection Regulation Policy.


For Monitored Customers

For those customers that are linked to a central monitoring station we will share your name, address, contact information and Police URN where applicable with our designated monitoring station so that they may contact you, a designated key-holder, or pass your details to the police in the event of an alarm activation.

You can ask us not to share this information; however this will mean that you cannot have a monitored system. This also applies to your designated key-holders and we request that you ensure that key-holders are aware that their contact details will be held and shared by us before nominating them.


Your choices and obligations

You can ask us not to hold your information; however this will mean that we are unable to provide you with the service that you have requested. If you decide that you no longer require our services then we will delete your information one year from the date of cancellation, or following our annual audit by the NSI, whichever is soonest.

The data we hold will be the information you have provided to us, and it is important that you advise us of any changes. We will update the new information within 24 hours of you providing it to us, (excluding weekends) and delete the out of date information. Please be aware that the monitoring stations have their own administrative targets for processing data changes, which may vary.
